Responsibilities:
- Present Decillion solutions to new business prospects, understand their needs and converting the needs into opportunities for the company.
- Generating new business leads within defined target markets
- Develop a strategic plan to target, develop and close a qualified list of potential clients across existing and new retail sectors and regional markets.
- Effectively managing a team of Business Development Managers
- Working with the management team to provide direction relating to project objectives and contractual scope, when appropriate.
- Review and explore new business strategies and development to meet the annual budget and sales target
- Oversees handling of key accounts.
- Coordinates budgets, forecasts and reports on product and pricing trends.
- Manage and maintain a healthy business pipeline through repeat business and the pursuit of new client relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar
- Prior experience with and solid understanding of Financial Services industry and experience (7+ years) in executing complex business deals. 3-5 yrs. of successful managerial experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the target market with strong contacts and references within the territory highly preferred
- Highly developed analytical and negotiation skills, a broad understanding of the financial industry, and demonstrated technical aptitude.
- Strong leadership abilities including capacity for strategic thought, and maturity to develop trusted relationships with senior leaders internally and externally.
- Solid interpersonal and collaborative skills to effectively mobilize internal and external resources.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Detail orientated, exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively, lead pitches and kick-off projects effectively with the internal teams
- Strong financial and business acumen
